Yes, this month was lousy for books but then I did have norovirus and exams to mark for the end of term and still more work to do. So, unless I read over 200 pages of a novel in my second language or about 400 of a Russian classic in my mother tongue in the next 68 minutes, I won't have finished any books at all this month. However, I'm fine with that. Family first, people.

The best books I read were Botchan, Buranko wo Nori, Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman, Silent Spring, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and I enjoyed what I have read of Middlemarch.

I look forward to reading more Japanese comics in 2013 as well as learning how to cook properly. I also hope to blog a bit more. I also intend to update the popular posts and downloads pages too.
