Jumping Through Hoops
During my enforced blogging hiatus my school was visited by Ofsted (government school inspectors in the UK for non-UK readers). Needless to say, many of us at school were running on nerves, coffee, chocolate biscuits and not much else. Despite being a Church of England school, we put Lent on hold so we could eat the chocolate that we gave up. After a few nights of careful planning and sorting out displays, everything paid off and we became a "good school with many outstanding features". My lesson was "satisfactory though [Mr Ofsted] can put it down to inexperience. You are an asset to your school." Wa, and indeed, hey!
Anyway, the other day we had our Church school inspection for our Religious Education and Collective Worship yesterday. I can smile at that too. Still bloody knackered though.
